Francesca, an Italian who is studying architecture in Toulouse, advised us to visit Milan. When we got there we were hosted by some friends of her. We tried to go to what is left from the universal exhibition of Milan but it has been closed since it’s over. We spent our first night out with real Milanese. They showed us what is an Italian atmosphere, between political and football debate. The following day we visited Milan. The cathedral was quite impressive.
We thought about were we could go to find interesting houses and we decided to go near by Come lake. A bit more than an hour driving and we were by the lake. We had lunch watching this amazing view and went in the mountain to look for small villages and houses. Once again we failed. We found some interesting ones but all were empty.
We supposed that these are secondary houses. People come there only during summer. Plus it was close to Christmas. Hopefully the weather was really nice and the view wonderful.
We came back to Milan to spend our last night before to head for Genoa! This entry was posted in News
